I’m mainly engaged in street photography and reportage. Cities are my favourite areas for taking photographs. Their energy and often inscrutable rhythm give me the strength for the long waiting for the right light, the moment and the situation, which can captured.
I love to explore different cities early in the morning, watch how they come to life, as people rush to work, look at habits they have from the beginning of the day and to document them with the camera.
About ‘Dust & Shadows‘:
The thing that makes street photography most exciting for me is the fact that at any time can happen something which is worth capture the image. You have to be constantly ready, you have to be focused, but at the same time you got to enjoy the moment of waiting and searching for something to be captured.
Street photography teaches patience, humility and makes you notice small things. You realize at some point that these small things matter the most and it’s only your decision how to make them click at your image.
Series ‘Dust & Shadows‘ is largely an experiment in which I wanted to put a man only as part of the decoration of my urban shots.
