Luana Rigolli says about herself:
“I’m from Piacenza (Italy) and I’m 33 years old.
I discovered the passion for photography during the University. The studies in civil engineering lead me to prefer subjects of architecture and human interaction with the landscape.
I am founding member of the “Dieci x dieci” collective set in Gonzaga, Mantova. With this group I organize the Gonzaga Contemporary Photography Festival since 2015.”
About ‘Pedita di Idenità’:
We often cover the objects around us to protect them from the sun and the rain, to hide them, to prevent them from the exploitation of time. We transform them into undefined shapes under monochromatic linen, where identity is lost.
We deal with these objects like we do with our own body, hidden and protected under clothes.
I am attracted by these covered “bodies”, I guess what’s underneath. Sometimes it’s easy to understand, sometimes it’s harder, anyway the details and the colours are hidden.
