The start of Louis work is a reflexion about perception and colors developed very young. As a self-taught photographer, Louis has learned architecture and design. An atypical path that led him to understand light and space through different points of views.
Since 2011 Louis is puzzled by the idea of reality being manifold. He practice photography in with a kind of scientific method, in order to capture realities that can be seen only by the camera.
Time, space, light, colors, in the way we actually perceive them, define our reality. When changing any of these parameters, the result no longer belongs to our reality but another. Louis lives and works in Lyon, France.
About ‘Soleil Noir’:
I feel the time passing by all day. I see the light slowly transforming my reality. During the night, when the sun is black, time stays still and space remains the same. Though, reality is not frozen but seems to be multiple.
Each lamp posts or car lights reveal a different one, another perception of this world. Each photograph reveals one possible state of this quantic dimension.
