43

Guillaume Tomasi (b.1984, France) is an emerging photographer and a curator based in Montreal. His work was featured in various publications (both printed and online) and collectives expositions in Sheffield, Montreal, London and Bienne. He is currently completing his BFA in Photography at Concordia University and he created in 2016 the collaborative project Fiiiirst which features anonymous image based discussions between authors photographers. His photographic practice is mainly based on exploration, wandering and luck.

About ‘Chrysalises’:

What happened in your life that changed your world perception?
This question was the starting point of Chrysalises, and I started to ask it around me. This work presents anonymous stories from strangers about intimate events that changed the worldview of their authors, forcing them to grow up, rebuild themselves or look at things through a new perspective.
