L. Hi Giulia, Thanks for the chat. what does interest you the most in photography?
G. I’m very much influenced by my surroundings. I love natural wild places but also geometric architectures and I have a big attraction for abandoned places.
L. How would you describe your relationship with female body?
G. Intimate, vivid, a first-hand experience.
L. What’s your main influence? Did anyone or something inspire you in order to create your own style?
G. My biggest influences come from movies. Talking about photography (modern at least) there are many artists that made a lasting impression on me and on the way I see things today: Franco Fontana, Tom Sandberg, Ren Hang…
L. What’s EdenH?
G. ”Eden H” is the name of the location where we shot the entire series (in 35mm). The project was born from a collaboration and it’s strongly inspired by the movie “Kynodontas” by Yorgos Lanthimos (he’s also the director of “The Lobster”). Clothing is by Alessia Beraldin.
