About ‘Statica’ – words by Francesco Sambati:

Living in southern Italy, known as every year, most of the photographic projects concerning the summer months in the south often show the more kitchy and noisy side, giving too much prominence to the frenetic and fast aspect.I therefore preferred to try to document the slower dimension, made up of micro stories in their own right, intimate frames made of absences and stillness, rather than frenzy and speed.
